Questions about
aluminium doors

Not seeing yours? Message us and we will respond with a recommendation for your opening.

What is a pocket sliding door?

Panels slide into a concealed wall pocket so the opening is completely clear when open. It needs wall space and planning at construction stage, so we review the structure with you first.

Which format suits a very wide opening?

Lift & slide and fold & slide systems are designed for large panels and wide connections. The right choice depends on the opening width, the space around it and how you want it to operate, and we recommend after measuring.

How heavy can the panels be?

Capacity is system-specific. Fold-and-slide configurations on selected systems are listed up to 150 kg per sash, and we confirm panel size and hardware capacity against the selected Encraft system before specification.

Are aluminium doors suitable for homes as well as commercial spaces?

Yes. They are used for living rooms opening to balconies or terraces, premium residential and hospitality spaces, and commercial glazed transitions.
